Abstract:

The subject of the study is the child’s physical activity in the space of music education. The activity in question is triggered by the perception of music, especially the perception of musical rhythm. Following the postulates of educators of music education, the author wishes to express her own voice in the long-held debate on the marginalization of music in the Polish education system.
