Abstract:

Virtual reality for many years enchants millions of followers of computer games, but also is used in education. It gives the possibility of immersion in the virtual world, but at the same time, distracts the user of digital content from the real world. While augmented reality (AR) moves digital content on personal receiving of the real world in order to connect the virtual with real environment. Augmented reality increasingly is being used in education. Its application can be found in the science of architecture, archaeology, anthropology, astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, geography, history, mathematics, science, foreign languages. It helps in the development of specific skills applicable in medical science, military, aviation, computer games or film production and acquisition of various types of engineer competences.
