Abstract:

The starting point for the considerations in the article was the negative experiences of the city space felt by women who are mothers and who move around the city with prams. In the first part of the study, the author presents the framework for defining the concepts essential for further considerations – space and its impact on humans and the theoretical conditions of the analysis of video recordings in the context of research on visuality.  

Punktem wyjścia dla podjętych w artykule rozważań stały się negatywne doświadczenia przestrzeni miasta odczuwane przez kobiety będące matkami poruszającymi się w mieście z wózkami dziecięcymi. W pierwszej części opracowania autorka prezentuje ramy definicyjne pojęć istotnych dla dalszych rozważań – ujęcia przestrzeni i jej oddziaływania na człowieka, a także teoretyczne uwarunkowania analizy nagrań wideo w kontekście badań nad wizualnością.
