• Abstract:
  
  
  The book contains the results of the research on political systems carried out by colleagues and former students of Andrzej Antoszewski. They point to the inspiration provided by his works, lectures and seminars. The monograph begins with a theoretical and methodological essay presenting the achievements of the Wrocław school of political systems over the last thirty years. The next two chapters take up critical reflections on the concepts of political system and democracy. The analytical part of the monograph consists of three chapters devoted to the analysis of arenas: supranational, national and local.

  Książka zawiera wyniki badań nad systemami politycznymi, jakie prowadzą współpracownicy i uczniowie Andrzeja Antoszewskiego. Wskazują oni na inspiracje, jakich dostarczyły im Jego prace, wykłady i seminaria. Monografię rozpoczyna szkic teoretyczno-metodologiczny prezentujący dorobek wrocławskiej szkoły systemów politycznych z ostatnich trzydziestu lat. W kolejnych dwóch rozdziałach podejmowany jest krytyczny namysł nad pojęciami systemu politycznego oraz demokracji. Na część analityczną monografii składają się trzy rozdziały poświęcone analizie aren: ponadnarodowej, krajowej oraz lokalnej. Autorzy nie tylko wskazują na inspiracje płynące z dorobku Andrzeja Antoszewskiego, ale nierzadko z nim polemizują lub wskazują na konieczność uzupełnienia niektórych twierdzeń.
