Abstract:

This article is an anticipation of the Nationwide Conference „Bibliotherapy in academic centers” organized in 2016 by the „Bibliotherapy Review”, Polish Librarians Association and University of Lower Silesia in Wroclaw. This article presents the historical and scientific context in which bibliotherapy occurred at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Wroclaw. The scientific activity of Professors covers the years 1946-2015 and is a contribution to the occurrence of bibliotherapy as an academic discipline.
