Teacher as form tutor – defining a role of a teacher from the student-trainee’s point of view

Abstract:

In the article students-trainees’ opinion on the role of a tutor of 1–3 forms was presented. The following issues were analysed: the work of a form tutor, difficulties in looking after a class, methods of modifying pupils’ behaviour and of motivating them to work, ways of building up authority by a teacher and the influence pedagogical practice exerts on the motivation to do teacher’s job.
