Abstract:

The text presents a new area of student practice – the World Experience Center. In this place students develop their therapeutic and personality competences. In the room students learn about new method of working with children with disabilities – Snoezelen. The method has been operating in the world since 1970, in Poland for three years. Wrocław and Kraków are the only places where students learn about Snoezelen.  

W tekście zaprezentowany został nowy obszar praktyk studenckich, jakim jest Sala Doświadczania Świata. Studenci pedagogiki mogą w tym miejscu rozwijać swoje kompetencje terapeutyczne i osobowościowe. W takich salach do terapii stosowana jest nowa metoda pracy z dziećmi z zaburzeniami – Snoezelen. Metoda od lat 70. funkcjonuje na świecie, w Polsce od trzech lat. Wrocław i Kraków stanowią jedyne miejsca, gdzie otwarta jest droga do realizacji praktyk w zakresie pracy metodą Snoezelen z dzieckiem z trudnościami w rozwoju.
