Abstract:

Considerations on the status of public enterprises in France in the conditions of the dynamically changing environment of public administration confirm the complexity of the problems that are the subject of a wide scientific debate. Public administration cannot play the role of a regulator of the services market only, hence the decisive criteria for decisions on the limits of privatization of public tasks should be not only the profitability criterion, but also the criterion of public interest, that is, ensuring the continuity of satisfying social needs.
