Abstract:

The research project “Migrating Biographies - descendants of re-emigrants from Bosnia in the process of reconstructing identity - Pedagogical attributes of intergenerational transmission in the light of life history” carried out in 2018–2019, is focused on analyzingand categorizing the meanings gathered in autobiographical narratives of representatives of several generations representing families of “Re-emigrants” from Bosnia, who in 1946 settled in Lower Silesia. The aim of this article is to analyze selected parts of the narratives of representatives of the two subsequent generations, indicating the dilemma of their identity recognition.
