Abstract:

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has been going on for over a year, has had an unprecedented impact on the functioning of all classes of families not only to the Indian population but also around the global population worldwide. During the Covid-19 pandemic period, people in Indian communities have experienced an unexpected and sudden shock in their routine of life. Because of this, they experienced loss of income, school closings, and the widespread threat of loss of health and life, particularly affecting people with low incomes. The purpose of this article is to conduct the survey study on the micro-social and macrosocial changes experienced by the traditional Indian communities, particularly the joint families.
