Abstract:

The aim of this article is to look into the issue of an access to firearms in Poland. The object of analysis was the firearms licensing decisions based on the jurisdiction of Polish courts. The author points out that everyone who has successfully gone through the process of medical and psychological testing and a thorough training course concerning the use of firearms as well as has passed an exam testing the knowledge of firearms possession and use regulations, is capable of handling firearms and is an individual of good repute, should have an unlimited firearms certificate.
