The author developes the issues, which were indicated in the book titled 'Origin of first Piasts of Wielkopolska (offspring of Mieszko III the Old and his sons) in the foreground of Duke's of Pomerania origin. Historical-law and genealogical study, Wrocław 2017. This book admits a particular influence of oral tradition. Unlike the “positivists” a special importance is attached to so called “ancestral memory”, that is showed in works of Kantzow, Thebesius, Sommersberg,or Sinapius (apart from the occuring mistakes in their works) are held for sources of wisdom, that means, as Kanstzow wrote, that all the dukes of Pomerania were of one origin and it is a fact, not a kind of fairy tale of pomeranian historiographer. The same as in Metryka Koronna (Metrica Regni Poloniae) it was written that Braniccy ancestors of Gryf family are also descendants of pomeranian dukes, it is not an invention (which can be charged upon some of magnates). The book is: a historical-law study or genealogical or both of them. It may not be called the second one, because it does not use the required in this field construction of biographical notes, that is why genealogical tables were consciously omitted (in the first part they include only aspects not mentioned in the work). It is a synthesis, which rules itself irregularly: only printed and internet sources were described, seldom archival material was related to. The origin of Lis and Wierzbnowie Family is not talked over, due to the study, made in previous book. I will only mention, that the origin of eastpomeranian dukes and their knight relatives can be the object of lawyer's interest, who sees this problem as a process, in which he gathers the collected elements to create the whole.
