Wydział Prawa, Administracji i Ekonomii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego N2 - There are many classifications of e-government development stages in the literature. These include eGovernment 1.0, eGovernment 2.0, eGovernment 3.0 and eGovernance. Both the nomenclature and the basic distinctive features of the mentioned stages refer to the evolution of the first, second and third generation internet, also known as web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. It should be emphasized that this classification, like all other conceptualizations, tends to simplify and reduce complexity, however, according to the editors, the analysis of the collected material through the prism of the classification can be a good starting point for making assessments and formulating proposals for the future.
