In the first part of the article we present some results obtained through form criticism and the critics of this method, by B. Gerhardsson, W. Kelber, K. Bailey and J. Dunn. It has been observed that the methods inspired by the oral-formulaic theory of Parry and Lord, as well as the conception, recently formulated by Dunn, of “Jesus remembered” are better than form criticism in describing the function of orality in the ancient world. The second part of the paper is devoted to the methodology of “performance criticism” and “media criticism”. We briefly discuss how scholars focusing on these paradigms concentrate on the oral/aural character of the synoptic Gospels, mainly on the acts of performance and the character of media transmission in antiquity.}, title={Badania nad oralnością a egzegeza Ewangelii synoptycznych}, type={text}, keywords={orality, literacy, form criticism, synoptic Gospels, performance criticism, media criticism}, }
