The level of access to health care services and the condition of the health care system in the European Union mainly depend on the level of expenditure on this system. Despite the fact that public spending on health care has been increasing for several years, Poland still remains one of the countries spending the least on health care in Europe. Lower spending on health care translates into poorer functioning of the health care system. Poland still lags behind the most developed European countries in terms of life expectancy and mortality due to civilization diseases. In addition, public spending on drugs in Poland is one of the lowest in Europe. As a result, Polish patients have very limited access to the most modern and effective medical technology. A chance to reverse this unfavorable trend are non-commercial clinical trials, thanks to which Polish patients have a chance to get out of exclusion to modern drug therapies.}, title={Niekomercyjne badania kliniczne jako remedium na wykluczenie społeczne w Polsce}, type={text}, doi={10.34616/146426}, keywords={non-commercial clinical trials, social exclusion, pharmaceutical law, modern drug therapies, patent cliff, health needs}, }
