 abstract={The article is an attempt to analyse somatic motifs in Barbara Klicka’s writings, including three volumes of herpoetry: Same same (2012), Nice (2015), Allel (2021), and the novel Zdrój (2019). The proposed interpretationis based on the phenomenological perspective since this vantage point effectively reconstructs the mechanismof the description of individual experiences. Furthermore, it proves useful in understanding the peculiarity ofKlicka’s feminine characters, who are defined by their corporeality. Within the analysis of selected poems and thenovel Zdrój, Merlau-Ponty’s thoughts are used to describe the corporeality of a woman patient and her experienceconnected with the problems of motherhood, eroticism, and existence. Moreover, concepts and tools borrowedfrom posthuman feminist phenomenology are applied to illustrate the communion of the human being with theenvironment.},
