The border date is determined by the teaching of the Second Vatican Council on religious freedom and the attitude of the Catholic Church to non-Christian religions. Consequently, the concept of concordat has been changed, according to which the purpose of such an agreement is to protect freedom of religion. The first part presents the notions of the Holy See and its right to conclude international agreements.
