Beck}, language={pol}, abstract={The article concerns the issue of ensuring digital accessibility of websites in accordance with the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. It discusses the results of a quantitative study of globally available tools for evaluating digital accessibility. The starting point for the analysis was the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) digital accessibility tools database. Digital accessibility tools used for audit and development were analyzed in terms of various parameters, including the prevalence of open-source licenses (OSS) and the trends in making such software available over the past 20 years. The authors also examined how the tools for analyzing digital accessibility are used by Polish public entities, based on the information contained in accessibility declarations. Notable practices of Polish public entities were discussed.
