 abstract={The main objective of the article was to determine the status of an entrepreneur in French commercial law. The starting point for the preliminary study was an analysis of the very notion of “entrepreneur” in order to later indicate the most characteristic categories of entrepreneurs also newly established entities, such as microentrepreneurs and their typical features. Separate comments focused on the characteristics of the catalogue of obligations of the subject category of entities, functioning within commercial law, especially with reference to the two most important: entry to the register of entrepreneurs and companies and carrying out accounting activity.},
