In the first part of the text author writes about evolution of the institution in Europe (incl. Poland) and points out constitusional basis of personal rights. The second part of text describes open ended set of personal rights of juridical persons and presents their unique features. In recent years it could have been noticeable that public juridical persons invoke personal rights protection by bringing ‘chilling effect’ lawsuits against representatives of the media, urban activists or ordinary citizens who publicly criticized local government.
