Honneth underlines the role of positive self-esteem and self-reference, built on mutual respect, in developing personal identity. According to Honneth’s theory of recognition, in order to succeed in the field of work, it is necessary to link the activity of work with the normative dimension of in tersubjective relations. In the context of the theory of recognition, as well as social critique and emancipation taking the form of the struggle for recognition, Honneth emphasises the negative effects of work on individualisation, viewing work as an obstacle to personal creativity and aspirations and describing its effects in terms characteristic of critical accounts of social relations, according to which the latter lead to objectification and alienation.}, title={Sukces a praca.
