To this end, the reader is introduced to matters concerning the functioning of this new technology, its advantages and disadvantages. The author not only examines the reactions of the academic community to the chat but also specifies the nature of higher education, particularly in the context of teaching history on this level, to facilitate a detailed discussion of the methods of applying ChatGPT by both students and academic staff in their daily work. In the conclusions section, based on existing analyses, proposed methods for implementing and regulating this technology are presented, considering guidelines issued by the Polish government, Ministry of Education and Science, and various international organizations.}, title={Nowa rewolucja przemysłowa?
