 abstract={This short paper is, in a sense, an appendix to a review of Roberto Peressin’s book about the Polish Hellenist Nicholas Zoravius or Mikołaj Żórawski (see pp. 274–276 below in this volume of “Eos”). It contains the text of a hitherto unpublished letter written by Zoravius to Leo Allatius and preserved in the Vallicellian Library in Rome. The Latin text is illustrated by a few notes and a brief introduction explaining its value with regard to our knowledge of Zoravius. A photograph of the letter has also been added in order to provide a specimen of Zoravius’ handwriting.},
