In this context, an attempt to present the circumstances of the forgotten political crisis of mid-1922 seems relevant – the dispute that flared up between the parliament and the Chief of State Józef Piłsudski and caused a long-term governmental crisis. This crisis, as it turned out, had a significant impact on the results of the elections to the Sejm and the Senate in November 1922, while those elections, in turn, were directly related to the election made on December 9, 1922 by the National Assembly, whose unexpected winner turned out to be the protagonist of the article – Gabriel Narutowicz.}, type={text}, title={Dlaczego Gabriel Narutowicz został prezydentem i "podzielił Polaków" w grudniu 1922 roku?}, doi={https://doi.org/10.34616/eks.2023.4.11.36}, keywords={Druga Rzeczypospolita, Gabriel Narutowicz, wybory parlamentarne i prezydenckie 1922 roku}, }
