 abstract={The authors examine the issue of penal procedure concerning juveniles addicted to narcotics and psychotropic substances. A significant part of the article is dedicated to an introduction to the issue of drug addiction and its link to crime, also in the context of barriers in the process of social re-adaptation of convicts. The article also contains an analysis of the legal basis for imprisonment in the therapeutic process, including compulsory rehabilitation, and a review of study results concerning addicted convicts.},
