  Upbringing (despite all pretenses) is a difficult and time-consuming process, which does not always bring the expected results. Nowadays, it is commonly discussed that a „normal” home and stress-less upbringing cause children’s rebellion and maladjustment to the commonly accepted social norms. What is happening that despite of numerous attempts, success in child’s upbringing is barely visible? What is one of the main reasons of failures in the upbringing of children, for whom conditions are supposedly created so the irdevelopment is happening in appropriate rhythm and despite of that they do not achieve the state desired by the educators? It all depends on involvement. It is not only performance of an action which is important but also the way inwhich it is done, being ready to achieve certain goals, despite of number of difficulties, which need to be overcome on the way. Sacrifice of time, courage and dedication to upbringing with empathy for the achievement of certain autotelic values by the child is more important than material compensations for their lack. Parents, school, peers and the whole social system should be involved in the upbringing of youngest generations in order to achieve success in their upbringing.
